Just was thinking bout how many of Stevie's Mac songs have changed a great deal in the way she performs them solo....When thinking back, what Mac song or specific performance of a Mac song do you like how Stevie has converted it on her solo stage best?
I'm going with Rhiannon from 1981 WWDove tour....When I first saw this when I was 8, I cried. I love the teary eyed slow entrance to the song and the start of the fast paced part..it has so much energy in its romance all at the same time....absolutely love how she changed that up after all the years of crazy Rhiannon years prior. |

Loved hearing How Still My Love in Vegas. Not that it wasn't good in earlier tours, but it stood out in that one.

Oh
I hope this thread isn't dying already! Anyone else have a favorite Mac song that they love how she changed it or performed it on her solo tour better than with Mac? |

How Still My Love in Vegas is definitely a highlight for me too.
I absolutely LOVE both live interpretations of Go Insane -- the acoustic version and the new version that more resembles the album. I couldn't choose between them, they both really bring out the best of the song in different ways. If that makes any sense at all? ![]() |
