I'm convinced the my cousin is incredibly stupid.

soo yesterday apparently my cousins boyfriend choked her and broke a few blood vessels in her eye..she says it isnt what happened but the way she looks right now could have only resulted from her being choked..she says that her eyes look the way they do now because she sleeps in her contact lenses.. so i guess she thinks that im stupid or that the rest of the ppl in our family is because everyone knows what happened but yet she is covering up for him. also she told her friend what happened and that friend called her mother and told her what happened..my cousin doesnt live with her mother anymore because of something that happened a few years ago which i would prefer not to really discuss so right now she is living with my aunt, who is her grandmother, in detroit while her mother and sister are living in alabama. my aunt lets my cousin's boyfriend sleep over and basically lets the girl run wild. in the neighborhood where she lives there is alot of drug dealing going on (i know it to be true because ive witnessed it firsthand and i know that a few of my cousin's friends that live in the neighborhood are drug dealers and have no shame in telling you so). the news of what has happened has traveled incredibly fast (as does everything else that happens in this family) and soo now she is upset with my father because she believes that he is the one who spread the "rumor" around...

My cousin has been in a relationship with this boy for almost two years and it has been filled with drama..she thinks she is in love but everyone on the outside of this relationship knows that its wrong and that she deserves better.

That's really a bad situation. It's hard to stand by and watch people make mistakes. I have to do that a lot with my sister. All I can say is that I hope your cousin comes to her senses and ditches this guy. Who knows...she may be scared to.
