Default Stevie - Natalie & Sheryl

So I'm watching Stevie - Sheryl and Natalie Maines doing C'mom C'mon from the Leno Show from back in 2002 or 3 - Does anyone else think that these ladies could form their own version of the Traveling Sheberries ( had too).

Imagine what that set would be like

I don't like the studio version of this song, but that performance ROCKS. The three of theme are great together.

Cool!

I've never actually heard that song before, nor seen this performance. The harmonies were nice.

In response to your comment about "Traveling Sheberries"...yes, it would be unbelievably cool. But I wonder if it would ever work/be allowed to happen in today's music climate. The Wilburies were catering (intentionally or not) to the baby boomer generation...raised on Dylan and the Beatles, and now in their fabulous 80s buying prime. Even the video of Sheryl, Natalie and Stevie comes from that whole Lilith Faith/Girl Power thing that was going on in the late 90s/early 00s. It just seems like today there's not a lot of collaboration going on between established, major label performers, and if there is, it's a guest appearance on one song instead of actually creating a new act and releasing an album. Seems like these days it's the indie artists that get to do these things...probably because there's less red tape and money involved...just a desire to try something different.

But yes, if it could be worked out (and honestly, what are any of them doing right now that would keep them from trying it out) it would be amazing...an album...a tour...

yes Lala - it is not probably that it would happen but think of the possibilities if they got together and said - F*** It we are DOING this - We are all successful so what does it matter - its just for us
Landslide would be beyond belief - Imagine "Traveling Soldier" - Stevie would be into that!!

Covers from back in the early days - AT LAST is a possiblity

think of this thread people as though you were in marketing and they came to you and said

WE R DONG THIS - Deal and make it happen - what set list do we think they would do or would we want to see?

It would blow my mind if the three of them actually got together and wrote some new music.
