Cool Stevie Nicks - Great Woods P.A.C. Mansfield, Mass. August 19,1989 torrent

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-d....php?id=262963

Stevie played 2 shows at Great Woods on this tour of her very popular album "the other side of the mirror". I'm not sure if this is the 1st or 2nd night, I suspect the 19th because she mentions it being the 20th anniversary of Woodstock festival, which was from August 16-19 (spilling over into the 19th with Jimi), in any case this is not an FM broadcast as was the one banned awhile ago from 1983 era. this may be new to circulation. I haven't seen it up before, so here you go. I liked this tour and show, just wish she'd done the second song on that then new album (a long way to go, I like that one alot) still alot to like in this set which is probably close to complete. samples are in comments. Enjoy, Ian

Stevie Nicks- vocals
Robert Martin- vocals
Carlos Rios- lead guitar

Nightbird??? Can you please post this in MP3? I was at one of these shows and Nightbird was not performed. She also talked about the Woodstock anniversary at all the shows on that tour, I believe. Also to my knowledge Nightbird was only performed on the taping of Saturday Night Live, not anywhere in concert.

That setlist seems really weird to me. No Dreams and Edge?
Whatever it is, I would love to hear it. Mp3's please?

She does do dreams - it is right after Outside the Rain in the same track on this download.

And that can't be Nightbird, it has to be Edge of Seventeen. What other song would be that long, and EOS has the word nightbird in it, so this it was just an error. I have this show (if this show really is the 19th) and here is the real setlist:

Outside the Rain
Dreams
Rooms on Fire
Gold Dust Woman
Alice
No Spoken Word
How Still My Love
Beauty & the Beast
Juliet
Talk To Me
Whole Lotta Trouble
Two Kinds of Love
Edge of Seventeen
Stand Back
Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You

My BATB cuts in on this show. That would be a great way to see if it really is the 19th. I also have the 20th and it has the exact same setlist and the one above, however the 20th is a little better sound quality wise.

He has Dreams listed in the first track with Outside The Rain. And now I realize Sanne from your questioning of this that Nightbird should really be printed as Edge of 17.

Talk To Me?
I´ve never heard this song from this tour, please could someone post mp3 here? I´d be grateful.

If it´s in a good quality that audio record of this concert I´d like to heard it all . Juliet would be interesting too. And I love osotm tour at all, so please share it., I have nothing from this beginning of osotm tour (it´s 4th show of this tour, right?).

Ah man.. I got super pumped thinking somehow I had missed a live version of "Nightbird" - well live in actual concert, that is.

Oh well. Should be an interesting show anyhow!

This show is the August 19th performance since I compared it to the "audience recordings" I have of the August 19th/20th show.

Glad this is not the October 20th show incorrectly listed as the August 19th.

Thank you so much for this.

I was at both of these shows. This is a particularly memorable show for me since it was my first front row solo Stevie show ( I was in the front row at FM"s Oct. 31, 1987 show at the Boston Garden.)

It appears that there are quite a few soundboard recordings from this tour, but I this is the first time I've seen this one in circulation.

She also cut Juliet from the set list, so this is one of the few performances of the song.

WOAH! Huge fan of Mirror shows!! I can't believe a soundboard of this show popped up. I wish it was the second night tho, it was definitely better! This is still great!
