How did you start doing “The Chris Isaak Hour”? [His new celebrity interview show on the BIO channel] Are you enjoying it? What about is specifically do you like? Do you feel you get truthful answers from your subjects?

“I showed up in a clean shirt, I had been listening to my subjects records all day and night and read up on them but I think it is more important to be interested in the people you talk to than to know everything. I love getting to play with musicians I admire. From Glen Campbell to Trisha Yearwood to Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins...every week was like fantasy camp. Singing with Stevie Nicks on a song she has never even recorded. I love that we keep the show so low key (we have a dog sitting on the couch all during the show) that people have fun and take chances instead of just playing the single and ‘Goodnight!’ "
