ORIGINAL "Edge Of Seventeen" video

Anyone know why this was not officially released as a MTV/VH1 video and/or why it is not included in her "Crystal Visions" release? The video was made and i have seen it...it is half decent..although watching it is like watching it undewater...not a clear copy to be found anywhere on the internet...very strange..stevie has never talked about it..it's like it doesn't exist....WEIRD

She released this a few years ago on the same disc with her unreleased Bella Donna recording footage.
You guys help me out on the title of this so this guy can go out and buy this.

i have no idea wat thi spicture has to do w/this thread...but this is very disturbing to the eye...and the mind...LOL!!

the disc that "Viv" is referring to isn't crystal visions which has unreleased bella donna stuff on it???...but nowhere on this disc is original EOS video..it does have the live bella donna tour version..but not the video i am referring to...thanks for help regardles of outcome

No it's not on Crystal Visions it was on the other release she did a few years ago--the title slips my mind--SOMEONE help me!!!

As much as I love the video version of EO17 that ended up on Crystal Visions, I was expecting the MTV video version, and although it's nothing special, I was disappointed that it was not included, simply b/c there don't seem to be any good versions of it floating around (at least on youtube, etc). I just can't sit through the underwater version.

Oh I remember now. It Isn't on Crystal Visions. I was thinking of the original Stand Back video. And I was confusing CV with the Sound Stage Sessions title.
I think you can find the video you are looking for on VEOH with stuff posted by priestofnothing.

I think they are looking for a "clean" copy though. I haven't seen one either and would love for one to surface...

although i appreciate all the input on this..the question has not yet been answered completely..does anyone know WHY stevie did not include it in her CV release and/or why it was never released for video airplay? thanks to all for your time chit chatting about this...love to hear people's perspective/opinion on everything stevie does..thanks again folks!!

My guess would be it wasn't put on CV because it wasn't offically released. I don't know why it was never released - maybe Stevie wasn't happy with it. After all she still did cover Edge on the DVD - the live version from the 81 tour. Maybe she just wanted to have something live on the DVD. Maybe the live version gave her more time to talk about the song.
