Someone in our section at the L.A. Show was playing their tambourine during Silver Springs and someone finally went up to them and told them to stop. It was SO irritating. They should only sell them after the shows.

as we were standing in line for hours...the lady selling them in St. Louis kept shaking it..and shaking it...and shaking it.
I wanted to bust through the gate and smash the damn thing right over her head.

worst thing to be sold at a concert EVER

of course some 'know it all' was in line saying it was Stevie walking around the arena!

Yes, I can understand how they could be annoying in a concert setting like that. It is one of the few items that they are NOT selling online... And it's probably the main item that should be sold online because of the noise factor they would cause in person. But I still want one as a souvenir. I think the FM Penguin logo on it, is nice...
Thanks Michele for the price info... ;-)

It's funny to me that they actually sell those INSIDE the concert hall, not just outside. Since no other merchandise is sold inside, that really stands out. For another thing, they cost so much, I wouldn't think they'd get that many takers.

The marketing people could slap together some tambourines, but no tour program. Interesting. Aside from the fact that I wanted pictures, it would be nice to have a list of the lighting, sound and other crew people somewhere.
