This September 22, 2007 article from the Montreal Gazette has a number of different celebrities talking about the concert that changed their musical lives. LB is quoted:
http://www.canada.com/montrealgazett...d56bb76c7f&p=5 LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM Instant of impact: It didn't happen on a stage for the Fleetwood Mac guitarist. It was more a matter of strings and vinyl in his brother's room. "I don't know if any particular live show did that for me. I was so entrenched in music so early, way before I was old enough to go see shows. I started playing guitar when I was 6, so I would spend hours in my brother's room with the door closed, listening to Elvis and Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry and all of that early stuff. I don't think I saw a concert until I saw the Kingston Trio somewhere when I was, maybe, 12. And I don't know how much impact that had, because I really was already so entrenched in the idea of music." |
