Versions of Soundstage

[ThunderHappens]

Hi guys,

I'm sure this has been asked many times, so I apologize.

I was one of those who immediately bought the Soundstage DVD from PBS, which promised non-existent footage "not seen on TV".

I'm now wanting to get the CD (The Soundstage Sessions), and possibly the DVD (Live in Chicago). Is "Dreams" the only difference in the DVD's?

What about the CD/DVD bundle (The Soundstage Sessions: Live in Chicago) from Warner's website? Are they any different from the other DVD and CD releases available in stores? What songs are included/excluded?

Is it a standard jewel case, or is it like the Crystal Visions CD/DVD case?

Sorry for so many questions...I just want to make sure I have the best version with the most content available when it comes to Nicks and Mac music.

I still don't understand why none of these versions include the entire setlist.

Thanks.

I got the CD/DVD combo package from Warners, it's a standard jewel case. There are less songs on the cd than the dvd.

The CD/DVD bundle is the best option. It comes packaged in a jewel case, and it's less expensive than getting both separately. The CD track list and DVD track list are the same as they are when you buy them separately.

The Soundstage Sessions CD is a mixture of live and studio elements...it's a wonderful album.
Here's the track list:

"Stand Back" – 4:40
"Crash Into Me" – 5:33
"Sara" – 6:56
"If Anyone Falls in Love" – 4:11
"Landslide" (Orchestra version) – 4:20
"How Still My Love" – 7:34
"Circle Dance" – 4:14
"Fall From Grace" – 4:35
"Sorcerer" – 5:00
"Beauty and the Beast" – 7:14

The Live in Chicago DVD features different angles and edits than the PBS version, plus it has different menus, and the inclusion of "Dreams" and "Landslide" (Orchestra version) is featured as a bonus track. Here is the DVD track list:

"Stand Back"
"Enchanted"
"If Anyone Falls In Love"
"Rhiannon"
"Crash Into Me"
"Dreams"
"Sorcerer"
"The One"
"Gold Dust Woman"
"I Need To Know"
"Circle Dance"
"Landslide"
"Sara"
"Fall From Grace"
"How Still My Love"
"Edge of Seventeen"
"Rock and Roll"
Bonus Track: "Landslide" (Orchestra version)
