Default Man Meets Mick

This was on a radio station blog, by Disc Jockey Chris Ryan:

http://www.drcfm.com/pages/pages.php?page=13

For a time, I lived on Maui. One night while in an Irish pub called Mulligan's, I was sitting at the bar playing R&R trivia. A question came up dealing with Fleetwood Mac and their Rumors album. As I answered the question, I looked across the bar to the main enterance and who walks in, but Mick Fleetwood! I couldn't believe it! The timing was incredible. As Mick walked in, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by the Stones was blaring over the sound system. Mick started jamming to the song like it was the first time he had ever heard it. I went up to him and introduced myself. We talked for a few minutes about music, Elvis, Hawaii and his condo, which was right down the street from Mulligan's. It was a night I'll never forget! I wish I had a camera on me! Here's a link to Mulligan's - http://www.mulligansontheblue.com/

Nice find, excellent account. One of those moments we all wish might happen closer to home with one of our artistic heroes.

I'd be interested to know when this happened.

Yes, me too. I can't get any time context from the blogger's comments. It happened when he lived in Maui, but then he doesn't indicate when that might have been. Michele
