What is the furthest distance you have traveled to see the Mac, or Mick, or Lindsey, or Stevie......g....

Don't be embarrassed to say you only go to home town shows.....

I went from New York to Michigan to see Stevie in October. I was actually driving to Arizona and did it as a side trip, but I think I might have gone even if I didnt have business in AZ.

I also will be going from NY to Pittsburgh. I have traveled all over the country doing dog agility, so long drives dont faze me.

I travelled from Islandmagee (20 miles from Belfast) to Los Angeles to see Lindsey on three dates of his Gift of Screws tour in LA and San Diego. I don't know what that is... Something like 1,500 miles? 2,000? I don't know.

It's about 130 miles from my house to Dublin Airport (and that's just the very start of the trip) and then a trans-Atlantic flight to LA and then all the travelling from LA to San Diego

I guess other people have travelled more when you consider they've gone to 10 shows or whatever but I think I've pretty good average distance travelled per show

Well, I've done quite a bit over the last 10 or so years since Ive been able to travel. I dont know Ive probably traveled at least 30,000 miles over all that time to see them and the members on their own.

Well in 1989 I left Herts drove to London, flew to New Orleans (I think), drove to Biloxi to see Stevie - concert was cancelled that day so we drove to Dallas and got tickets there and then on Huston to see Stevie there. I couldn't persuade my partner to then go on to Colerado!!!

I also went to see the Mac in NY and NJ in 2003 again from Herts/London. And got the train to Manchester from London to see the Mac in 1990 for Behind the Mask. Loved every minute of everyone of these experiences.

from Australia, to New york, Boston, Milwaukee, in 06 to see the under the skin tour, then again from Australia in september to see 11 shows on the Gift of screws Tour....

The furthest I've ever driven was 250 miles to see Fleetwood Mac.

I've driven further for other acts. I drove over 330 miles to see Boston Spaceships in Nashville, which was a show that required hospitalization afterwards.

Last summer, we drove about 360 miles in a tremendous thunderstorm to see Stevie in St. Louis. It was worth it.

The furthest was for Stevie, and it was for the opening night of the TISL tour.
I only became a fan post-the Dance tour, and missed Enchanted (long, boring story). So, I swore I would go anywhere on the east coast she hit first.

That was Pittsburgh. And I don't drive or fly.
So, it was 11 hours on the Amtrak (and about an hour locally).

Going there wasn't that bad. Coming back (less than 24 hours later), was BRUTAL. I thought my back and behind would never be the same!

(P.S. It was SO worth it)

I saw Lyndsey, Steevy, Mic, Jon, and Kristine on The Dance tour in Portland, OR and then flew across country (Penguin Airlines!) to see them in Boston, MA.

Yet, on the topic of the thread. The furthest I've ever been to a concert is to Mohegan from my house, which is like 2 hours....

Well, when I went to the Nashville show I referenced, imagine falling after the show trying to help the road crew, landing on your face, having people from the band telling you "no, dude, you need to go to the hospital", losing a lot of blood, passing out, spending most of the night in the hospital, getting 12 stitches above the eye, getting all of three hours of sleep in the hotel you got because it was within stumbling distances from the venue, and then have a six hour drive (thanks to traffic) home. Now, try listening to the Cincinnati Bengals (currently 1-11-1) on the way home. That was my last big show! It f*cking rocked!
