I don't know if this has been answered before, but I was wondering......I know most of Lindsey's input on Say You Will was originally going towards his solo album. Atleast 7 of the 9 tracks. I also know that Mick and John played on a some of those tracks that were going to be on Lindsey's solo album. Did they play on all of them? It would seem a bit odd they they would be the rhythm section for his whole solo album. But maybe they were going to be. And judging by the Destiny Rules video all they did was put stevie's vocals on them so all the instrumentation must have been finished before hand.

In answer of your question, according to Stevie when she was on the TISL tour, Mick and John had already been working with LB on the tracks. So, I think LB must work on the music consistently...the others just go in and lay down their parts as needed and I am sure they all give input as to what goes and what stays but I bet LB as producer gets his way if he feels strongly about something. I think they trust his judgement. Last edited by CADreaming; 10-23-2008 at 09:37 PM.. |
