Default A few Northampton Photos

This was sort of a rowdy yet laid back crowd. It took them until GYOW to get off the seats.
He did BTLH again as an encore. Someone yelled out "Johnny Stew" and LB said maybe tomorrow if I heard right. Both Brett and Neale had some rabid female fans. LOL

I was too afraid of camera nazis so I took out the camera near the very end.

Thumbs up

Cool pics, Pattie! I like the very last one of just Lindsey a lot.

Wierd how Johnny Stew is the song to yell out at all these shows, but perhaps everyone wants that one...for John.

I am not really sure. I think some people were being too pushy and someone said something to them but I am not sure who like venue staff, or LB staff or just another fan. I do know that some people walked way not very happy.

They were cursing but I am not sure who it was directed to. Actually one person was in a wheelchair. I am not sure what happened but I sort of felt bad. Maybe just rude fans but hopefully someone who was closer to the action can report back.

I'd love to hear more about this, but I'm sure it was nothing too bad. I'm glad you had a good time at the show though like I said.

Thanks for some odd reason Photobucket is not reflecting the fact that I did edit the photo the right way.

The show was awesome

I was there, in the 7th row. I got yelled at to sit down during BTLH. That was upsetting. I think those 'rabid female fans' [lol] were drunk. The little blonde's husband or guy she was with was holding beers the entire show.

I freaked out when he started 'Come'. I knew he was playing it, but the song is just so epic!

Ok, so after the show I went around back. [yeah if anyone saw me, I was wearing a navy printed cardigan, jeans, my LB shirt from last year, and brown boots]. There was people out there waiting to get stuff signed. I didn't have anything, cause he signed my Tusk CD for me last year.

I actually got to shake his hand and tell him how much I love him and what an inspiration he is for me. he thanked me, and I was like so happy. A lot of people were being pushy though. I admit that. He said he had to get to the hotel to call his kids before bed [which I respect]. He did actually sign a lot. A couple records, a CD, and one or two guitars, then got in his SUV and left. He drove by my mom and I when we were walking back to our car.

God they were such Camera Nazis at the show. one of the security people told us it 'was at the request of the artist' which I found strange, but whatever. I left mine in the car so I wouldn't be tempted to use it. My mom got a sick spot right in front of the venue [We got there at like 2 PM]

I loved 'Great Day', awesome! GOYW was wayyy better this tour than last for some reason. And I LOVED the upbeat Go Insane. Did You Miss Me translated well. My mom even liked that one. Overall it was an awesome show, and I wish I could go to another.
