Default Anyone want to help me with a Stevie project?

Hey, party people.

I know I'm new here, and because of that, y'all don't know me very well yet, but I'd like to ask if anyone would be interested in participating in a project I've been kicking around for a while now.

I'll give you a rough outline of what I'm looking to do, and then you can pitch in, if you'd like to - and the more, the merrier!

So here goes:

I'm a writer - I write copy for a living, but, like most writers, I have ambitions, and they do not involve me having to write 50 articles on the subject of geodesic dome homes so I can pay the electric bill. ;-)

Anyhoo - like everyone else here, I am a Fleetwood Mac fan. Stevie is personal favorite - the first time I saw her performance of "Stand Back" on Saturday Night Live, it was all over but the moaning.

Stevie's one of those rare creatures that manages to attract legions of insane, devoted and demented followers, and though we might have different reasons for why we are such big fans, in the end, we're all still connected by that common interest.

With that being said, the project is to create a beautiful & interactive digital scrapbook to put on the web, with the goal of collecting and displaying things from all of us chiffonheads that will show what an amazing woman La Nicks is and why we love her like we do.

Examples:

A combination of video and written stories and essays about how we came to be such big fans and why, which songs mean the most to us and why, Stevie experiences, etc

Photos (fan shot from concerts and similar)

Pages devoted to still photos and video tours of our memorabilia collections

Stuff like that. :-D

The scrapbook itself will resemble a real book as much as possible - pages you can turn and flip through - but since it's on a website, I can include video & audio as well as text and still photos.

I'm still debating over what to call it. I'm stuck between 4 different choices, so I ended up just grabbing all 4 domain names so it can be figured out later without the risk of losing one - sableonblond.com, hauntinglyfamiliar.com, chiffonheads.com, dreamsunwind.com

So there's that. I'm really excited about this project, and I hope y'all will be willing to lend a hand.

What do you think?

All the same, baby. All the same.

"You never know what I'll do. I've resequenced my show. I'm a master at sequencing. I'm the one who sequenced for Fleetwood Mac. I sequenced 'Rumours.' Everyone loves my sequences. They're fun.''
