Default Rhiannon- Live

I'm sorry if this is a repeat, I am not too familiar with the Stevie forums. I was wondering if some one could post or tell me where to find the best live version of Rhiannon
Thanks!

I think you're working under the mistaken impression that everybody agrees on a particular performance as the best.

My "best" is Los Angeles 10.02.83, & I'll post it later.

For a fantastic rendition from the earliest days of Stevie & Lindsey joining Fleetwood Mac, you might want to seek out the 1975 Passaic, NJ performance (the entire show is available as a free streaming audio, at Wolfgang's Vault).

Citing the "best" performance is truly a matter of preference. There are numerous excellent recordings of "Rhiannon" from each of the past four decades though, so there's something for everyone's taste.

Which era do you tend to gravitate towards the most?

Funny you should mention that show Johnny - I just posted that over in the Rumours section. I never knew it was on that site you posted. Here's the link over from my topic in the rumours section - rhiannon from Passic NJ '75 -

My personal favorite is the Rosebud version (on youtube) and one from the RAL era (don't know the date, sorry) I love the "you just might get to her!" parts.

I origionally was a fan of the Dance version, but now I would have to say the Tusk tour is probably my favorite.

Oh my goodness I hate reading old posts of mine. But I like reading what everyone else has to say. Where did all those people go? Why don't they come back here & talk about live Rhiannon?

On Stevie's latest doodad on YouTube, am I out of it about what she does these days or is she wearing a really short chiffon skirt of the type that I don't remember her wearing since pre-Rumours days? That & the tan platform boots put one in a time warp. "It's like deja vu all over again!"

She must have been watching some old footage -- really old footage -- & got the idea for re-creating her mid-'70s attire.
