Default Capturing Stevie....

I use FastStone Capture for screenshots, which I never used to bother with. Now, I can't stop. Last night, I was learning how to use the rest of Faststone's many functions using two Stand Back videos from Youtube as subject matter. Stand Back from Red Rocks and her Arsenio Hall performance from '91. Both vids have incredibly low resolution, which is why I used them.

The 7th one down looks like Anna Nicole Smith pretending to be Stevie Nicks.

Very nice. So are those first 2 (0r 3?) pics from the "real" red rocks show? Before she came in for all the close ups.

I'd guess the first two are real and the next three were from the Fake performance.

The first two are from Red Rocks. I added a mild motion blur to all but Stevie in an effort to redirect focus to her.

The other captures are from the studio retakes Marty Callner shot. The disparity between the real footage and the cylon footage is so ridiculously obvious that it's almost rockstar brave to think they could get away with it.

But, she did it again for the Tango video. The hair didn't match. Some times the cape or shawl is buttoned, sometimes it's not. I kind of love it.

So, why did them having a low resolution make you want to use them? Is it because you wanted to try to make the image better or does low resolution work best for captures for some reason?

I have thought I wanted to try my hand at doing some Big Love captures some time.

I wanted to see how the program - and it's editing tools - handled really low resolution video, which is unfortunately the standard for the web.
