Default Stevie's 60th

Should we give Stevie a gift from The Ledge? Like a collective donation to her charity for the soldiers? I think it would be nice.

Maybe someone should contact John Kinney to see if he has any thoughts on how this could best be done.

Do you think John Kinney is the best judge of what's a nice thing to give Stevie? In light of the shiddy website he's running for her?

Just sayin'..

Good idea. He might know how to direct the donations to Stevie's Soldier's Angel fund.

I would go directly to Liz Rosenberg. Her office would want to maximize any charitable effort or gesture attached to Stevie's name and fanbase. It might appear grotesque - or opportunist - to turn a wonderful fan effort into an promotional opportunity , but Warner might match any donation, and media attention will only benefit the charities Stevie chooses to support. And some lucky fan(s) has to be the one(s) to pose with Stevie and a big, foamcore check for the publicity shot.

Well, why don't we go the extra step and organize a private benefit concert where Stevie is the featured performer and we sell tickets for $1000 a piece and...

Oops, someone tried (and failed) already.

I just wonder if we could organize some kind of a good deed group activity in honor of her 60th birthday. Whether it's cleaning up litter in a park or painting an inner city school or or planting trees or volunteering in New Orleans... I'm sure Stevie would be thrilled to know that something like that was being done in her honor.
