A question from a 4 year lurker....

I'm so sorry, I am scared to sound like an idiot, but I check this AMAZING page at least once a week and I really don't think I have seen a thread about this. I apologise in advance if it's been discussed....

Do you guys think Stevie's current tour dates (that are confirmed) will be the only ones she does for the summer? I read on stevie-nicks.info that it's kind of a mini tour, but it seems she keeps adding on....as usual.
I ask because I want to know if I need to be extra nice to my mom so she will pay to send us across the country to see her, or if I can blow my money in Vegas and catch her somewhere over on the westside, even though I know she did a couple show here back in Feb.
You guys are so incredible and keen to things, I have to show my friends this site so they realise im not as obsessed as they think I am...because you guys rock.

I'm going to say she's going to make her way back west sooner or later. The common consensus is that she's going to release her Soundstage DVD/CD and tour behind that for a while. Or, she's going to wrap up this short tour and go into the studio with Fleetwood Mac or a solo project. I guess for those details we'll have to sit tight.

well, First of all Hey!

Welcome, and your right, you are soooooo not alone in ur obsession

but yeah, im also hoping she makes her way out west too. but yeah, this "minni tout" is to create three things, excitement for the new dvd, excitement for the upcoming project, and money.

but yeah, welcome and well all colectivley hope together she comes out west. where are u located?

and I agree with what was already stated about the mini tour.

I think some things are on hold until some plans are solidified regarding FM (but that is just my take on things). I mean it is almost April and if you are planning a spring/summer tour, the dates should have been firmed up and announced by now you would think. I just hope there is a flurry of activity in the next couple of weeks regarding tour info.

It is hard to plan on which venue to go to when info. comes out in drabs rather than say 10 -15 dates at a time.

And hey, some obsessions are good things: exercise, eating right, and listening to Stevie/FM

Does the mind and body and spirit good.
Listening to Stevie/FM fuels my creativity when doing my art, so if you are going to be obsessed about something in life, Stevie/FM is not a bad thing to focus on.

It is hard though to try to explain our passion for the music and artists when others just don't get it, but that is why I am so grateful for The Ledge and can hang out with some really cool and kind people.

Hey- I'm in San Diego too!

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that there will be dates out west. Yeah, she did have those 2 February dates, but one of them was at some wierd new casino near Palm Springs and the other was a very pricey benefit thing she did for Cal State Fullerton at the Pond. SO, IMO, those don't really count as REAL tour dates. Looking at her current schedule, it would be feasable to believe that she will be out here sometime in July. As to when the tickets will go onsale is a whole other thing - keep checking Ticketmaster, LiveNation.com and Ticketrush.com cause somethimes those dates come up with only a day or two of warning.

Hey yyou guys thanks so much for your imput, I appreciate it very much. I'm just so impatient like I'm sure we are, and I want to know NOW! haha.

But you guys give great advice as always, and most of allthank you for the warm welcome.

Don't worry, I'm just as obsessed as you guys are...just a little shy about it
