Default Baseball Playoffs

Ok, I'm a little late with this. but here goes. First of all, I cant believe 2 things. How the hell the Mets blew a lead like that with 2 weeks left to go, and how the Padres, more importantly Trevor Hoffman, couldnt close out Colorado. Now onto the games at hand.

Colorado continues their hot streak, winning their 15th out of their last 16th games today in game 1 against the Phillies, 4-2. And my Red Sox just put a whuppin on the Angels with Mr October (all apologies to Reggie Jackson) Josh Beckett pitching a complete game 4 hit shutout 4-0 over L.A.

Here are this "Expert's" predictions

Colorado over Philadelphia, 3-2
Arizona over Chicago, 3 games to 2.

Boston over L.A 3-1
Cleveland over Yankees 3-2

ALCS: Boston over Cleveland 4-3
NLCS: Arizona over Colorado, 4-3

World Series: Boston over Arizona 4-2

Of course I'm biased Man October baseball, BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!!!

Did you watch the deciding game between San Diego & Colorado?
In my opinion the winning run that decided that game was wrong, he was out he never touched the plate.

I am a Red Sox fan, go SOX!

That could be true, but also Colorado had a home run in the 7th inning that was called a double, so maybe it evened out?

Rockies win 10-5. Up 2-0. Stick a fork in the Phillies

Indians win 12-3.

It's becoming apparent to me that the Cubs are overmatched in this series. That's too bad. I wouldve liked to have seen the Cubs put up a better fight.

In the LA Times today..once the catcher missed the throw home, he no longer can block the plate. The runner is safe by rule.

Oh well, "Wait until next year" yet again...

I pick the Rockies to beat the Diamondbacks. Still hoping for a Yanks/Red Sox ALCS.

One down. 2 to go. Red SOx 9, Angels 1. No competition whatsoever. Now we just need the Yankees to win tomorrow to force game 5, so they can play for the right to get their asses kicked by the Sox!
