What are you talking about? She has harmonized with Sharon and Lori since, oh I don't know, the beginning. She pulled out all kinds of women to harmonize with on TISL alone. She loves her girls and has since forever.

In theory it's a great idea, kathy1, but can you imagine any record label putting out a Stevie Nicks/Christine McVie album (or a Christine McVie/Stevie Nicks album
) and not expecting them to tour behind it and/or do the traveling to promote it? Stevie would never do that, even though she doesn't tend to use many of her new songs LIVE anyhow. Christine has been quite firm in saying she will not go out on tour anymore. She sees herself as retired, and says she's been retired since "The Dance," despite putting out "In The Meantime." I know Christine telephoned in some interviews to radio stations in the USA, but I personally haven't read or heard of her doing much in the way of support for "In The Meantime." Anyone else? I am reminded that Christine did have a website for the album, but the album was truly a home grown project, using family, recorded on her own property (in her barn?), etc. I don't see Stevie traveling over to England to accomodate someone that truly doesn't want to perform LIVE and tour. Apart from the logistical problems stated above I think the collaboration between the women would be very cool and not a little weird. While the three singers harmonize beautifully together, I think Lindsey's voice (or any male tenor?) needs to be there to neutralize the differences in the women's voices.
Who knows, though. I love the music both women make and would welcome any excuse to see more music come to fruition. |

I'm all for it! Maybe they can get Lindsey to play some guitar, Mick to do some drums and that John guy to play bass. Wait a minute...

![]() Stevie keeps mentioning Christine in interviews these days but not once has she said that she's spoken to her recently. I wonder if they have any contact at all.

Are you saying that Christine is telepathically telling Stevie not to go on tour without her?

That would be wonderful, but Linds would have to produce and throw in some guitar..
