Default No Spoken Word...

Does anyone have any good live versions of this song? This is one of my RAL favourites and would've been my choice of 4th single from the album. The Red Rocks performance is a classic but I was wondering if anyone had any better live versions. Actually live might be a start rather than overdubbed to hell. I'd still love an MP3 of the Red Rocks performance though (infact, any Red Rocks tracks seeing as I only have Stand Back).

Many Thanks and love to all,
Chris

You know, the Red Rocks show is interesting. Some of the tracks sort of scare me. I mean, the version of Edge kind of scares me. She sounds so work out and wasted. Yet, some of the tracks are amazing. No Spoken Word, Outside The Rain, Beauty and the Beast, HAEWAFY. They all shine. I love the end of No Spoken Word where she keeps going "lets make a deal here"

I like this live version.

I can't even listen to the album version anymore, simply because of the clipped guitar at the beginning. The demo versions of the song don't have that chopped-up, spurted out guitar, and it wasn't played that way live. What retard made the decision to have it that way on the album I'll never know.

WOW! Thanks for that. It's amazing! Any other version floating around out there? Was this only done on RAL and OSOTM tours?

I believe No Spoken Word was also done on the first few dates of the Street Angel tour, but then it was dropped. I'm not exactly sure how many dates it was done before it was dropped. She did it in Jones Beach on 7-24-94 when I saw her and that was the 2nd show of the SA tour. She also opened that show with Blue Denim, which was kind of a shock and departure from her usual OTR/Dreams opener.
