Default What we all do for Stevie...

Wow, what a journey. I was off from school today fortunately, so i got up at 9:00 to head out to Wal-Mart to pick up CV. I bought it on iTunes at midnight last night because i wanted the bonus track and it's just easier to upload for my iPod. So, at 9:00 am, i headed out to WM to pick up the CD for my car, and the CD/DVD combo for home I got to WM at around 9:15, and i was there for 15 minutes....they did not have CV!!! I couldn't believe it. I then thought, ok, don't panic...Target will have it! At about 9:50 i got to Target....and they didn't have it!!! I was floored!! I asked the lady at the desk in the electronics dept. if they had the new Stevie Nicks album, and she goes "...Stevie Nicks?" Then she says the guy who runs the music dept. couldn't come in today, so the boxes with the new releases weren't opened yet. So i ran out of there to Circuit City at a little after 10:00. There was a line of about 50 people there and i thought, oh wow, i guess everyone came here to buy CV.....nope, they were all there for the release of Happy Feet on DVD!! I was like, great i'm in the clear, and i ran over to the CD section and under Stevie's name there were 5 CD's and 1 CD/DVD combo left so i picked up one of each, paid ($36 all together, great deal!) and i happily drove away. I have to say, i've never had such a hard time finding a newly released album before, but it was all worth it for Stevie!

And when you'll watch the DVD it'll be even more worth it. Have fun!!!!

WOW! You really worked for that cd! I share your frustrations...I've had similar experiences in the past. Hopefully I won't have that experience today as I wait for the stores to open (one hour from now!) and I venture out to find my own Crystal Visions,

Joshua and I went to Walmart at Midnight last night, to pick it up. They were really helpful and looked through the boxes until they found it. They had five copies... but only the standard CD.

We each bought a copy, of course, but were disappointed they didn't have the CD+DVD.

This morning we woke up bright and early (on four hours of sleep, since we stayed up all night listening to the CD! ) and went to Target, since they were the only store who featured it in their Sunday ad. Unfortunately, Target didn't even have one copy of EITHER version.

Next we ran off to Best Buy. They had three copies of the standard CD, but only one of the CD+DVD. Joshua insisted on buying it for me (Thank you, sweetie ), and then we headed off to Circuit City.
C.C. also only had a lone copy of the CD+DVD, so Joshua snagged his and off we went.

What a shame it's so hard to find, but, let me tell you, it's COMPLETELY worth it.

Exacally, Target was useless!! no copies at all. My best buy had a TON of copies, like 25 cd/dvs and like 10 cds! I switched their position from the bodom middle of the rack to the very TOP! (see ya later nickelback and Nirvana!! )

I first went to Border's today thinking that for sure they would have CV but they didn't. The guy said it might be in the back but wasn't unpacked yet and I could try back in a few days. That wasn't going to work for me. Then I went to Target but they only had the cd version. Finally I went to FYE which I never go to because it's so expensive. Thankfully they had two copies of the dvd/cd so I bought a copy. I was getting a little worried I wasn't going to find it.
