I dont know if anyone's heard of these guys, but they're a smooth Jazz group that started in England about 20 years ago. I have all of their cd's and absolutely love them! Anyone else a fan?

I guess I'm just a casual fan then, cause I just know I love Mr. Chow, don't know any of their CD's...feel embarrassed
Ottmar Liebert is another fave.If you like jazz and fusion check out Norman Brown, Joe Sample, and David Benoit, oh and Rick Braun...Philippe Sace..and Level 42!--they were marketed in the US as a poppy group with the hits they had like Something About You and Lessons In Love, when in actually they are a pure jazz fusion group. Listen to the stuff on Standing in the Light and many more hidden gems in their stuff. Brilliance. Mark King is the singer and absolutely brilliant bass player. |
