Default True Colors Tour?

Just read about this on the AP - and don't remember it being mentioned here - but damn it sounds like a good show! I'll be getting my ticket on Saturday!

NEW YORK (AP) _ DENVER WILL BE AMONG THE STOPS ON A 15-CITY
``TRUE COLORS'' TOUR DESIGNED TO HELP RAISE AWARENESS FOR GAY
RIGHTS.
CYNDI LAUPER, DEBORAH HARRY, AND MARGARET CHO WILL HEADLINE THE
TOUR, WITH OTHER PERFORMERS INCLUDING ERASURE AND RUFUS WAINRIGHT.
LAUPER SAYS SHE BELIEVES MORE AMERICANS WOULD BE SUPPORTIVE OF
EQUAL RIGHTS FOR GAYS IF THEY KNEW THE DISCRIMINATION THEY FACED.
THE TOUR WILL KICK OFF IN LAS VEGAS ON JUNE EIGHTH AND END IN
LOS ANGELES ON JUNE 30TH.
THE DENVER STOP IS TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR JUNE TENTH.
THE TOUR IS SPONSORED BY LOGO, THE M-T-V NETWORKS CHANNEL
TARGETING GAY AUDIENCES.
A DOLLAR FROM EACH TICKET SOLD WILL GO TO BENEFIT THE HUMAN
RIGHTS CAMPAIGN.

Pardon my cynicism, $1 per ticket? Seems a bit cheap.

One dollar is all I'm willing to give the useless Human Rights Campaign.....

But will definitely be going to this show!

Tour dates are here: http://www.hrc.org/truecolors/

I will be in Boston for the June 16th show....and maybe Radio City the night before Stevie's Turning Stone performance?

I also thought $1 was a bit piddly - but honestly I don't even care about the organization - the lineup is what thrilled me

Great. Now I can't force you into going with me to the Stevie/Eye Sack Turning Stone show. Since it's the same day.

-OR-

Great. Now I can't go & see this show. Cuz I'll most likely be at the Turning Stone casino that night.

Pick one, it doesn't matter.

Wait, I am in the presence of people who'd rather see Cyndi Lauper than Stevie Nicks? Is that infectious?

step off, bitch!

but yeah, i'd rather see cyndi, who still gives 150% at her live shows, than see the same stevie show i saw in 2005. especially if that one is, like, $100.
