Default Best Stevie Concert I Have Ever Been To...

was at the Ford Amphitheatre on Feb., 9, 2007. Stevie was f*ckin' on!!!
Crowd was a solid SO! Everybody went crazy went Bootyliscious came on and you could hear the crowd singing along to Deep Dish Dreams. Drums started for Enchanted and Stevie came out in a black long sleeve top with a fluffy scarf, long dress, and high top boots...and tambo Next was Stop Draggin' My Heart Around. I love how she's hitting the high notes i.e. Stop Draggin' My HEART Around! A rockin' Outside The Rain was next with Stevie groovin' with the beat of Dreams and the crowd went crazy when she did a hula dance. Rhiannon was up with a piano version and a full rock version...great vocals...great dancing...she just rocked. Sorcerer was next which most of the people in my area were singing to. Stand Back was the best live version I have ever heard or seen. She was so on. After the second "I would" she lifted her arms up and started showin' us what she had then she gave a little to Jimmy Paxson and started twirlin' crazy(crowd screams of course) She also hit the high note on Why Don't You TAKE...me home! And kicked her foot up in the air. Landslide she said that I probably dedicated this to you about 5000 or 6000 times but I'll dedicate it again. Crowd was almost like oversinging her...beautiful. Gold Dust Woman had an eerie violin intro to it and Stevie seemed to be all over Waddy on this one...like literally...something freaky going on backstage She did a lot of Baby Baby Baby...it was really sexy. When she said we took this out of the set for a while and then we put it back in, I was like what is this...then she said...this one's called If Anyone Falls In Love...I screamed Holy Sh*t She sang this really well...I have video of it too...A lot of peopple were singing alog to it. Fall From Grace was next and I'm almost positive that she hit the high not to ..."ooh maybe I fought this long and this hard just to make sure you surVIVE...can anybody that was there help me? Edge of Seventeen was killer! Probably the best version EVER! Everybody in the SO crowd was up dancing and singing. Waddy seemed to get a longer guitar intro. BTW...Stevie's wail was so much longer and I have video to prove it! Rock And Roll was next and Stevie came out kicked up her leg and started moving her legs back and forth...HOTHOTHOT! Beauty And The Beast was the closing ballad and the crowd was very appreciative of it especially when she held those long notes. Then she walked off with Waddy guiding her with his hand on her back...

*I have some pretty good pics and like two videos from this show that I will post today or tomorrow...so be patient

Now don't get us all worked up in a lather unnecessarily! When you say that ____ was the best EVER, we're talking, since the Bella Donna tour, so you'd better really mean it!

Can't wait for the video evidence.

OOOMMMGGGGG - NEW STEVIE VIDEO . To be honnest, I haven't seen Edge done right live since 1981 - at least I haven't heard it done right. I don't think that Melbourne was great and not a particularly a good choice of CV. I love the HBO special version - that is THE edge of 17 for me and it will never be beaten!

Awesome review!! Thanks so much for sharing.

If Stevie is singing the high note in FFG again it will completely turn the live version around for me. That note it like the climax of that song, even though it is at the end, I think the whole song builds to that last verse.

Can't wait to see the pics and vids. Glad IAF is in the set!

I'm almost positive but it could have been Jana but it sounded like Stevie started with it...

Default I was there also...

and I have to say that Stevie did not hit the high note on FFG. However, she did hit it at the end of Stand Back. Great show though.

I have never seen Stevie solo, jsut with the Mac twice during SYW. But that statement is going to change this summer. I just pray that I will be able to go because summer is only a couple months after my scoliosis surgery....
