Check These Guys Out: The Veils

[foxyluva]

I don't know if anybody on this board has heard of this band, The Veils, but they are a New Zealand band based in London - and are huge at the moment. I would love to know what all of you think. Sharon (trackaghost) this is right up your alley

Here is the lead single off the newest album:

And here is the audio for anyone who wants it:

The Veils - Advice for Young Mothers to Be

I don't mind posting some other tracks off the album, just let me know

I've seen them live last year, just before their album came out. Very impressive First album's good too.

Very cool I heard the lead singer is very intense on stage...

Ooo sounds cool Michael. There's definitely a little bit of Jarvis and Morrissey in there!

Also, off topic, but I see The Mutton Birds on your playlist and I used to love them! I must dig out some of their music. Absolutely fantastic band.

I love it! Though the baby coming through that "doorway" was kind of bizzare.

I will have to get it transferred in from another store, as I have sold out - so I should have it by next week

I like it! Then again, I keep my TV on the "Retroactive" music channel all the time because I'm an 80's New Wave nut! I'm definitely gonna have to check out their album. Thanks for posting!

Reminds me of the Blow Monkeys!

Cool video. The lead singer is hot and the girl in the band is gorgeous!

That's right! was there with a friend who's in a band herself - and sees a lot more concerts than I do - she said "now there's a Leadsinger". Real stagepresence, you know.
