Default THE POLICE reuniting AND US TOUR
http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/..._id=1003527290

Reuniting for 40 stadium dates between Europe (first concert at the new Wembley) and USA this upcoming summer. Unlike the last second aborted Police/No Doubt '04 tour, this is actually happening.

Ack, only the UK? I would definitely go see that if they hit Amsterdam.

Livia and I saw the Police on their Syncronicity tour and we met them, too!

I gotta find that picture of me and Sting...

For a tiny moment in HS after Synchronicity came out, The Police, and more importantly Sting, replaced FM as my fav. ever. It lasted about a week or so and I announced it to my friends who were like "who gives shiitte ya freak"

this is actually happening
maybe.

Rumors are swirling that the Police will reunite for 2007 dates in England and the United States, which would be the legendary trio's first since disbanding in 1986. Sources tell Billboard.com the reports are legitimate but would not publicly comment until final details are nearer to completion.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of "Roxanne," the single that broke the Police in the United States. "Discussions have been underway as to how this will be commemorated," reads a post on Sting's Web site attributed to an A&M spokesperson. "While we can confirm that there will indeed be something special done to mark the occasion, the depth of the band's involvement still remains undetermined."

My best friend is going to piss his pants if I call him about this tonight. We saw Sting together last summer and it's still all he can talk about. We actually joked about The Police reuniting at the time.

If, ofcourse, it's going to happen.
