Default Rock n roll hall of fame???

I know Stevie got in as part of fleetwood mac but by doing that does it hurt her chance getting in as a solo artist?

Default stevie and rock and roll hall of fame

i really don't think it will bother stevie's chances of getting in as a solo act...that said her solo career was not as good as it could have been and there are a lot more deserving acts like heart and the rolling stones who haven't yet been inducted...i want so much to have her inducted but i just don't see it happening...we argued the point on another list and i thought blondie shouldn't have made it as a group but it was pointed out that she had 4 #1 hits which stevie never had 1 as a solo artist...i think down the road she may be recognized but not in the next few years...pat

^ I agree. She'll get in eventually, but I doubt it will be soon. However, I don't think her being inducted with Mac hurts her chances of getting in.

We are coming up on years that are full of 'one-hit-wonders'. They won't have anyone to induct during these times.....Stevie will be a shoe in!

I find it hard to believe shes not there already. I mean, she's only one of the most well known and longest lasting female rock stars ever.

Hell it took McCartney a while to get in there..but his being in The Beatles didn't affect that I don't think. That's my favorite RRHOF thing - his daughter wore a shirt that read, "It's about f**king time"

Perhaps someone can wear an "it's about f**king time" shawl.

I could see Jazzy doing that.

Didn't hurt Clapton getting in as a member of The Yardbirds, Cream AND as a solo artist. Now, can we get him in as a member of Blind Faith and Derek & The Dominoes, too, please?

AND, can we PLEASE right the incredible injustice and get Bob Welch retroactively inducted as a member of Fleetwood Mac FIRST? THEN worry about La Nicks as a solo artist?

For that matter, let's get Delaney & Bonnie & Friends in there, too.

I'd add Billy to that list, too, if for no other reason than he was in the band for so long.

And, I think they should find a way to do the same type of thing for Gram Parsons and Clarence White for their time with the Byrds. Talk about a gross unjustice!

Yes, I agree Bob should come first. Youre exactly right!

I think its ridiculous, utterly stupid, incomprehendable, unconsionable, outrageous, pathethic and a travesty, that Heart hasnt been inducted yet. They are so rock n roll, just go to one of their concerts - they own it! i dont know what these people are doing at the RRHOF but they should do some house cleaning imo and get on the Heart train. Ann and Nancy Wilson pioneered actual, authentic rock n roll for women... if they dont deserve it by now i dont know who does... rant rant blah blah

I agree 100% about Heart, but the Stones have been in since 1989!
