Of The 3 New Releases on Timespace, Which Is Your Fave???

[Musicman408]

Ok so we have been talking about Timespace lately and I was just wondering which of the new songs is your favorite.... Feel free to discuss them as well.

Much Love,
Ethan

Desert Angel by a mile. Never understood all the hate for this song. The music is absolutely beautiful. And even though this was recorded during the "lost years" as Stevie refers to 89-93, I think it's one of her most passionate vocal deliveries to date.

I think it's her bellowing "Operation Desert Shield! Operation Desert Storm!" towards the end. I just can't overlook that.

Even though this forum is on poll overload, I still played along and went with LAHGTP. I just love it.

I went with Love's A Hard, etc.

But I usually like the ones most people don't, and don't like the ones most people do.

but I went with desert angel

I picked SIAB. It's cheesy but I still enjoy it just like I enjoy some of those old Bon Jovi hits.

Agreed. Love it. Her voice is stronger than all get out. She sings "operation desert shield" so forcefully at the end it nearly distorts the mic. The liner notes don't say who played the piano on the track but I think it's absolutely gorgeous. It's one of my favorite things about the song.

You described that so well, I love how she sings those last couple of lines.

I voted for Desert Angel. I've always liked her Mike Campbell collaborations, which tend to be blues rockers. The lyrics are a bit too straightforward and literal, but I like appreciate her sentiment for the soldiers. I rarely listen to Sometimes and Hard Game. The tacky lyrics keep me away.

Man, after today I think I would have to change my vote to Desert Angel. I just really love that song. I hadn't listened to it in awhile.

Much Love,
Ethan

Me too, so thats where my vote goes. But for the record, I love the vocals on "Desert Angel" - I especially love the very end - 'Operation Destert Angel'
