It's been awhile right?
I just watched this again after awhile. I found myself totally grinning. I found myself on the edge of my seat. I felt myself getting butterflies in my stomach. I could have watched like 10 hours more but wow.. It just made me sad...the ending...I don't know. It's really late and I'm not saying anything profound here but anyone else have anything to say about this?

I guess no one really has anything to say.
I became a Fleetwood Mac fan in 1997. It was a very quick thing -I mean I was so obsessed. If this DVD had come out then...I may have had a heart attack. I always wanted to be a fly on their wall and in a way..we were. I do have the Rumours and Tusk documentaries which are also so amazing...but that's the past. I was barely alive then and it's now how I know them. This DVD is present...it's how I see them being a fan of them now, as older people. I think Lindsey just comes off as this really great guy. Yeah, he's obessive and anal...but he has a sense of humour about it all and he really, really cares about the music. Stevie comes off so strong. I think she always had to be that way to be heard and to be taken seriously. She is so tiny and feminine but in the end she can hold herself with the big guys who I can tell probably were not as polite and giving as they were on this doc. I loved the fight scene between the two of them...sometimes I wished they taped that fateful day in August of 1987...isn't it sick? Anyway, I just had to say more about it.

I love this documentary as well. I just feel like we were shortchanged. go figure, huh. it has bits that are priceless. the "fight", Stevie and the singing fish, Stevie walking in with that weird looking statue...
it is what it is. a fair representation of how lax FMac (as a whole) has become on providing things for their fans. I'm glad and appreciative they did it, but I felt like there was a LOT left unsaid/unshown. |

We missed a lot...but I guess it was so bad they couldn't show it. I probably would have cried myself LOL.

DR is one of the things that I go forever with out watching, and then stumble across it, and get like, in love with 'it' all over again. My friend and I watched it no joke 15 times when we were out in California. We could/can recite it. It's crazy. I think Lindsey really comes off as being sort of nit/picky and almost controlling. And completely condesencing(sp?) to Stevie. He'll sit there talking to her, using all of these big words and stuff, and she's just like, uh...I don't think we should do it because I don't like it. And he goes on for ten minutes... I totally think they did some mad editing on this btw.
I think it's probably different for people who grew up with the band. During the 70's and 80's. The were younger...did different things...they're different people now. This is the Stevie I grew up with. So I look back and see all of those other doc's and am like, wow. Almost seems like a different person. Love it.

Its sad, but I think my favorite part in the documentary is that little part where they play the beginning of Everybody Finds Out in rehersals. I watched that like 100 times!

Stevie has grown up alot since she and Lindsey first joined Fleetwood Mac. That is a good thing to see. She lets Lindsey be in charge sometimes but she doesn't back down when she knows she is right or has something important to say. I like that about her![]() |

Anyone else annoyed at the fact that it was only 1 hour long? They said they filmed about 500 hours of footage and they only came out with a 1 hour long DVD?! Whats the deal on that?
They could have added way more footage, it should have been at least 3 or 4 hours long. |
