Default Quick Cleveland note - he teased us again!

I promise I will post more later, including lots of pics...

BUT...

During the show, people kept yelling for "Johnny Stew"...and he played some of it! He started singing it, and then played the chords of the chorus and sang most of the chorus...then he said "It's been too long!" and said they'd rehearse it for next time. What a treat that we got tonight!

Anyway, more to come. What a great show!!!!

Thumbs up Wow

It was a great show all around. The crowd was really into it, and I could see him just feeding off of that all night. I could nitpick about how there was too much Fleetwood Mac material, but if that's the stuff he's more comfortable rocking us with, then so be it. I don't go to too many concerts, but this was up at the top of the list, if not the best, that I've ever seen. See you next year, indeed.

Hi all - I've been a lurker for a few months but this is my first time posting! We were in the 4th row, center stage. I have to tell you that I was blown away by Lindsey. I don't know what I expected from this show, but he far exceeded everything I could have expected. He was so nice. I kept hearing someone yell what sounded like "stool" and now I know that they were saying "Stew". He played about 15 seconds of it maybe. I've never heard of that song.

Some girl screamed out "You're gonna rock this place, Lindsey" and he acknowledged that by laughing. He acknowledged all the loudies. LOL. Those people in the first row leaning on the stage could have touched him and I sure as hell would have!

There pretty much isn't a bad seat in the Lakewood Civic Auditorium...for $35, we STOLE those tickets! It was a great show.

Default Cleveland Rocked!

Yes, most definitely the Cleveland show was awesome. I thought it was really interesting that when he was saying his "good nights", he said "we'll see ya...we'll see ya next year!" Next year would be awesome. It just seems like he's having a really good time. My favorite songs of the show were "It was you", "I'm So Afraid" for which he jammed quite a bit on my side of the stage, and "Bleed to Love Her". I also got a kick out of when one of the "loudies" yelled out "Holiday Road", Lindz looked towards Neale and said "these guys know our set list!". I somehow missed that he's in Cincy tonight. I would have hung around Ohio one more day before heading back to Buffalo. Damn!

Well, I'm an old Ledgie coming back out of the woodwork to chime in on the outstanding Cleveland show. Lindsey was absolutely out of this world and I'm counting the minutes until he sees us again next year!

The "Johnny Stew" shout out and teaser from Lindsey was hilarious. Before he finally gave in and played a bit of it, he was laughing out loud at the folks shouting for it. To me it seemed like he was genuinely touched by it as well.

The same people who had been shouting for "Johnny Stew" shouted "FROZEN LOVE!" towards the end of the set. Lindsey had just approached the microphone and was plugging in his guitar; he heard it. The face he made was hilarious, like "err, I think not" but he smiled and went on.

I've loved the man for over 20 years now, and this was far and away the best performance I've seen. I had the pleasure of seeing him open for Tina Turner in 1993 during his "Cradle" tour where he debuted the finger-picking "Big Love" and "Go Insane" --- and I'll tell you, those songs last night and the rest just blew 1993 out of the water.

If you can, GO. You will not regret it.

Cheers,
Carlene

I swear if he plays the whole song during this tour, I will be livid! It's a fav of mine. It was good to be in the crowd for the off-beat performance. Woot!

I'm glad I got to meet you, Josh. Even though you just further proved the theory that all cute boys on the Ledge are gay. And I like your piercing.

Default Next tour...

During a live radio interview here on 10/19 he did mention that after this tour he was going to put out another CD and tour again next year to support it (he laughed saying it was rather quick for him). Then go back and do another FM thing. He wasn't sure if that would involve another CD with them but he did say there would be something. He was very talkative considering that it was about 8 am in Milwaukee where he was calling from. The lady DJ mentioned that she loved Go Insane and he was just really nice about it. He said he talks to Mick and Stevie but not to much to John since he is in Hawaii. At least we had some positive news on the solo and group fronts.
