Default A brief review of the Milwaukee concert

Well, my husband and I just got back to our hotel after Lindsey's Milwaukee concert. It was definitely worth the five and a half hour drive from Minnesota to see! Lindsey was amazing in the way he played guitar and sang, he made it seem so effortless! I absolutely love the new songs (especially "Cast Away Dreams" and "It Was You") from Under the Skin and thought they fit in well with classics like "Big Love" and "Go Insane." I made my way to the stage at the end of the show, hoping Lindsey would sign my Go Insane LP. There were two other women on either side of me who had LPs as well. I totally thought Lindsey would come over and sign our LPs after the encore, but unfortunately, he didn't. He seemed to jet out of the theater pretty quickly. I can't say I blame him, the Milwaukee crowd was terrible! People sat for most of the show and did not seem very energetic . It brought me down somewhat, as I like to stand and dance and sing, but the music made up for it though. Overall, it was a great show and even impressed my husband (who is hard to please). I'll try to post some photos when we get home, as we left our camera cord at home.

We had an interesting encounter after the show too. A pickpocket brushed his hand across my thigh while I was waiting in the merchandise line. I looked him right in the eye and motioned to my husband (a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do). He noticed the pickpocket and figured he'd try to check him out too. Well, my husband was waiting for him! When the pickpocket tried to put his hand in my husband's jacket pocket, my husband broke the guy's hand! I guess the moral of this story is don't steal from my husband, especially after he's driven five and a half hours to see Lindsey Buckingham!

Milwaukee's concert crowds suck. I saw U2 at the Bradley Center last September- the audience was DEAD. D-E-A-D. Bono was more energetic and animated than usual, trying to elicit some sort of response, but the crowd just didn't seem to care much. And, well, if Milwaukee can't get up for U2's stage spectacle... then there's not much hope for Lindsey at the Pabst.

Must be the Mars Cheese Castle/Miller Beer effect.

I was there, also !! I was kind of pissed, too. I was in Row E, dead center. I was standing up a lot, and people didn't seem to like it too much, giving me dirty looks, and what not, so I sat down - sometimes -

He was amazing ! That's about all that I can say. My pics turned out like **** as I ALWAYS shake when I see him in person -

Anyways, I was the person , being as ass that I am, yelled out, that Lindsey you look damn good, or something to that affect - the women know where I was coming from and they hollered as well. I was also the one with the VERY LOUD whistling going on - I hope that I didn't piss anyone off !!!

Anyways, I think I did manage to get a good video of Holiday Road - I'll post it on youtube later today.

I ended up buying 2 of the black shirts, 3 keychains, and one of the burgundy shirts, which was different than some of the other venues. This one just had his name on it and a pic of a guitar.

My husband didn't enjoy the show - - I think he's just jeolous of him - as I love him sooooo much! I even have told my husband that I have been in love with Lindsey a hell of a lot longer thatn with you, so deal with it - He will be staying home for the Chicago show that I'm going to !!!!

Anyways, LB was on it last night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it !!!!!!!!!!

Now, I can't wait until next week.

I wasn't too far away from you. I was in row C! I sat down too, for fear of getting things thrown at me (again). I think Lindsey blushed a little when you said he was hot

I too have loved Lindsey for a long time. I have told my husband that if Lindsey said he'd run away with me, I'm going! He doesn't pay much attention to this, but after last night he said I could sleep with Taku because he was the only drummer worth sleeping with!

Are you going to either Chicago shows? I'll be at the one on the 25th. I'll probably be one of the 1st in line, I hope, anyways, I should get there about 3:30 or so.

God, I just LOVE him !!!!!!!!!!!! I told my husband that I wasn't close enoguh to him, that I felt the need to run up there and touch him!! He didn't appreciate that too much!

We were in seats 5 and 6. Unfortunately I will not be going to Chicago. I don't have enough vacation time left, or money for that matter Oh well, I hope the crowd is better in Chicago!

LOL, I wanted to yell out something about his hotness too at the Nashville show but I was nervous to being that I was very very close to the stage... I want him to hear me but I don't know that I want him to *see* who said it! LOL. However, I would so love to see Lindsey blush, haha, so I think you've inspired me to do it at one of my next shows!

Too bad the crowd was sucky, I *hate* that...it can and has ruined entire shows for me. I was lucky to be seated in front of cool people at Nashville (hi! lol) who wanted to stand as well, but the thing was, nobody else did so we had to sit most of the time anyway. Grrr. Glad you had a good time anyway though!

Actually, I stood up and said it, so I think he knew who it was nod: Doesn't bother me any, I'll probably do it again in Chicago !!!

I hope my loudness didn't bother anyone around me. I do whistle really loud - It seemed that a lot of the people around me weren't INTO Linds like I am - oh well.

I can't wait until Chicago now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thumbs down I hate dead crowds

I am NOT sitting down for these shows. I'm not that tall and I don't like sitting down like a corpse.

I'm a screamer and if people don't like it, they can suck it. I don't care. I will be holding up my Lindsey Rules sign (gotta go get some supplies ASAP!!). It won't be huge, so nobody sitting behind me panic. I'm going to make it as small as the other one I gave him in Houston in 2004.
