Default More NYC Photos

My photos aren't as good as the rest, but they are fun nonetheless.

Good question. I was going to ask the same thing for all the shows so far. I love seeing these older, smaller venues. Very cool.

He only stepped in front of the amps/speakers a couple times at the two shows I have seen. During the ISA solo and for GYOW. It is not like the SYW tour as far as crowd interaction/participation goes. He mainly stands at the mic.

Hi - thanks for the welcome. I'm actually an older-timer who didn't post very much and screwed up my old Ledge account, so had to get a new one! Anyway - on the side where I was, he didn't come in front of the equipment at all - it was really crowded on the stage floor and he only seemed to have a bit of room in the middle and slightly to his right, so that's where he came up to the crowd. If I remember correctly, though, he only did that 2 or 3 times. And after the bows were taken, he left the stage immediately - no shaking hands or signing autographs, which was hugely disappointing.

There were empty seats - more in the balcony than on the floor, but there were several rows in the back that had little to no people in the seats. I think it would be accurate to say the venue was about two-thirds full.

Since I couldn't get rid of some of my extra tickets by the time I got inside the hall, I made a couple of people very happy by giving them away upstairs. Helped make the floor more crowded, too, LOL!

Eileen

Great pics! Closeups are all fine & good, but sometimes I actually prefer a wider shot so I can see more details (the stage, the band, the lighting, etc.)

How nice of you!!!!! I would have jumped at that back in 1993 when I was one of the poor souls in the balcony at his Town Hall concert!!! Good karma is def. on it's way to you, Eileen!!

You guys would've done the same thing, I'm sure of it! You can only sit in one seat, why hoard them?
