Default A little birdie told me

S what are your favorite or most memorable rumors you've heard over your life. Ones that may have come true or were totally outlandish. Here are a few of mine:

1.February 1997, Fleetwood Mac to reunite.
2.August 1991: Soviet Union on verge of collapse
3.1979/1980: possibility of nuclear war over Soviet invasion of Afghanistan

Im just having a hard time even thinking of a rumor that became fact...

I can think of a news blip that I WISHED was fact: John Hinkley shoots RONALD REGAN (man, I wanted that guy dead......) him and Monkey Boy. Why isnt there a John Hinkley wannabee around??? (note: I know, I know, Im already on "the LIST" who freakin cares? )
