Does anyone know how to convert video files to mpeg format? I'm trying to convert a home video over to put on youtube, but I don't know how.
Thanks!

do you have mac or pc?
I know mac has iMovie and it probably has a means to convert (its been years since I used mine) also, is the video footage already on your computer or do you still have to load it? At one time I had something called Hollywood DV that would upload video footage, then I would use iMovie to edit it....I had cute little movies of my son once upon a time, but alas, Ive lost them when I upgraded. If you have PC I cant help you. ![]() |

I think you need an MPEG codec. Try Googling that and see what you come up with.
