Default NFL Season Underway- anyone excited?!

I am!

The Chargers (my #1 team) look good. As long as Philip Rivers plays at least decently, I really think they have a chance. Yeah, he's new to the field, but not to the Chargers system. He's been learning and training with them for 2 years now. I think he's ready.
It's sad what happened to Steve Foley (linebacker who was shot by an off-duty cop, and who's also MY favorite defensive player) Hopefully he'll be able to return next year.

The Patriots (my #2 team) look like they need some work. They won yesterday, but it wasn't pretty. They got some work to do. But I'm STOKED they signed former-Charger Junior Seau!

Chargers will hopefully take care of the HATED Raiders tonight! Keep your eye on L.T. - he usually has SUPER games against the Raiders!!

Ok- who are you guys rooting for??

Nice start for our Chargers, Jamie! Of course any time we beat Oakland in their stadium is sweet!

I was excited until I saw my quarterback's head get slammed into the grass, out for two weeks, in our first home opener loss since 1991...

... go chiefs ... !

I was thrilled when the Bills kicked ass the first half against the Pats...until time wore on & they did nothing after that. Last year, everyone kept saying "they're not losing by much, they're a good team, it's not a blowout or anything..." Yeah, well, lose by 1 point or 21 points - you're still losing.

We lost by a safety this past week, btw. A SAFETY, FOR F*CK'S SAKE!!!

Ah, well, at least our quarterback's not bad looking.

That's what I heard yesterday but I'm trying to not pay attention- it freaks me out.

It was awful seeing him down, Lisa. 11 minutes out cold. He shouldn't have been running in the first place- ur offensive line looked like ****. The play where he got knocked out was the third or fourth time he'd had to resort to running with the ball in that drive. It was NOT GOOD.

Cool Sadly...

I must have lost interest in the NFL.

I tried to watch games on Sunday & Monday, but on both occassions I found other programming that was of more entertainment value to me than pro-football.

I will say that I still pay attention to the score of the Bengals & Rams games, But that is about as close to being a NFL fan I am nowadays.

Well, if it's any consolation, I missed the second half so I only saw you guys kicking our ass. It was definitely not pretty. On the losing by a safety?

I'm so glad Brett Favre didn't retire. The Bears had so much fun kickin' his little yellow ass all over their precious little field. Shutouts...so delicious and good for you.

You'd better hope I never make it to Boston, cuz if I do I'm totally kicking your wicked retahded ass!

And let's not forget we scored first after Brady was picked off. Good job, Tom!
