Default mention in todays New York Times

there is a short mention of Lindsey's new album in todays Arts fall preview of the NY Times. it makes a reference to a possible midlife crisis - but otherwise puts an interesting spin on the new songs. (they also use the term freak-folk which cracked me up - i pictured Lindsey with a beard down to his shoulders and his 70's white afro). Maybe Vetiver or Brightback Morning Light will open the tour.

Haha...mid life crisis?..yeah..more like some of us fans going thru one, waiting for Linds to release something!
Cool to hear he's getting a bit of exposure in the papers again....

I think Lindsey would look beautiful with white-hair-fro, and a kimono: maybe some sitar music, some land on the Big Island of Hawaii, some psychotropic plant research...
Oh wait, he has kids and soccer mom/wife. I guess he should keep that prep look he has going now.

I actually love BrightBlack Morning Light.

Default This is the exact blurb:

Quote:
LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM Fleetwood Mac’s guitarist and studio wizard sounds as if he’s working through a midlife crisis on the album “Under the Skin.” If not for Mr. Buckingham’s multimillion-selling past, “Under the Skin” could easily become a freak-folk cult item. Reprise. Oct. 3. (Jon Pareles)
sounds like a big compliment in Lindsey's ears.
let's hire a shabby apartment in a nasty neighbourhood!
