Default Gore Run in '08?

I think he could possibly win if he were willing to speak out strongly. He could say:

* I won the popular vote in 2000 so I know most of you wanted me to be president. Most of us probably wish I had been.

* If I had been president FEMA would have remained a strong organization headed by qualified people and the atrocities of New Orleans would not have happened.

* I would not have said that no one could have predicted the breach of the levies since that was predicted by many.

* I would have rolled up my sleeves to actually help instead of for a photo op. (On edit, he actually did this as a "civilian".)

* Bin Laden would have remained on the top of my watch list and perhaps wouldn't have been successful. If he had been, he certainly would have been apprehended long ago.

* We would not be in a war with Iraq.

* Just think about how different your lives might have been. They can become that way over the next four years if you vote for me again.

(Sound of can opening.) Here come those worms!

I want him in my bed. I think smart is sexy. Although I wouldn't throw Edwards out either.

I think smart is sexy too, but Gore it too robotic for my taste. Jon Stewart seems to fit the "smart and sexy" category a bit better, IMO.

Exclamation Don't know...

if I could stomach seeing Tipper Gore as the first lady, She is a worthless cause in my eyes, Evenmoreso than 'Hit and Run' Bush...Besides, aren't the Demos gonna run Sen."Hill-Billy" Clinton for President?

I know I wont be voting for any Rethugs in 2008.

I've heard that with his movie he is not so robotic. Maybe he has shed that persona. I sure as h hope so. My theory that he could win sort of rides on that. He has to be more real and charismatic. Accessible (well, giving the appearance as such at least).

I do disagree with Tipper on her efforts for censorship but I know where she is coming from with it. Children are highly influenced by what they hear and she is trying to help, her heart is in the right place anyway. She would be helpful in elevating the national dialog about depression.

I hope they don't run Hil, I don't think she's electable. I would actually bet money that she isn't. That would be a huge tactical error to run her IMO.

I think parents should be more involved in knowing what their children are listening to, The whole "Label an offensive" album was and still is a joke (But that's alright, adding that label guaranteed that youngsters would go out of their way to purchase a release that included that label upon it, Which in turn helped the artists-So thanks for the extra $$$$ Tipper, ya idiot!).

Unless the Demos where to somehow encourage a John Edwards to run as President (Who I would vote for), I'm sure they will push for "Hill-Billy" over Al Gore.

"Hill-Billy" on the ticket, IMHO, Spells 4 more years of Republican Domination (At least the lyrical content of music I enjoy will become even more anti-government with a Repub in office) in D.C.

God, What I wouldnt do for an Independent President!!!

I totally agree. The Dems better choose carefully, because I'm not too keen on four more years of conservative "get 'er done" logic.
