THE days are getting longer, the temperature is creeping up and foliage on the rose bushes is peeping through. It can only mean one thing: birdies destined for Flemington's Bird Cage are starting to twitter. Cashed-up music promoter Andrew McManus is this year parking his McMansion marquee in Millionaire's Row, bumping out BigPond ( Sol can't afford it, anyway, with his empire crumbling). Sir Andrew's guest last year, Stevie Nicks, had such a dandy time in her black gothic costume that she's coming back and will swan around the McMansion with crooner Chris Isaak. It's just what racing needs: more goths to detract from those bright, cheery ensembles.

Chris is cute, to be sure. Met him years ago.
He has a fabulous sense of humour, so Stevie must adore that.
