anyone else have it??

well, my question is: my chats have not been working since saturday. It says it's experiencing technical difficulties. Also, you can see when other people are on that have gmail (in my contacts). So I'm wondering if the library has done something to prevent this from happening, or if it's just something wrong with gmail right now.

Also-I was on another computer last night and it seemed fine, but none of my contacts were online, so it was hard to really judge, but it didn't have the "sorry we are experiencing technical difficulties" blah blah.....

anyone else having this problem??

I just got it and love the way it organizes email. I haven't noticed any problems except over the weekend, I couldn't use the "enter" button in order to start a new paragraph, so all my emails were one long paragraph. That stopped on Monday.

I didn't know people can see if their contacts are online? I hate that function. Is there a way to turn it off or make it so others can't see when I'm online?

^^ I think you probably can. Maybe in your settings. Not sure.

have you put it in chat mode?? would you care to do that just to see what it looks like. I have to figure out if this is gmail wide, or if it's just this stupid computer....ugh.....

on edit you can turn the visibility off. Go to settings and go to chat. There is an option there to turn it off, or only allow certain people to see you. But I think only people with gmail can see that.
