Where's Jake?

It's summertime and school's been out for over a month now, so I expected our handsome man in the dark linen suit to come play with us... but he's nowhere to be found.
Has anyone heard from him?

Every time someone asks that, I think of Anthony Michael Hall in "Sixteen Candle" trapped under the coffee table after the party screaming "JAKE JAAAAAKKE"

Haha, you know what I think she actually says there? After watching for about the 20th time I think she says, "It's gonna be a piece of cake, Bren". Her Mom's name is Brenda!

So many AWOLs. Sometimes people just move on & want to turn off the computer or get into something else, like racing chickens.

But sometimes people disappear here & then show up on another Stevie message board. That's what really hurts!

My other theory is that, for some people, there is (paradoxically) too much Fleetwood Mac talk here. I have known some fans who actually tired of that.

That martini-making scene in Sixteen Candles is my favorite! I love the Sinatra music in the background and they way he offers Jake a pretzel and just tosses the bowl on the counter.

And, "Smile, Pumpkin!"
"Oooooh! Pictures! Cheeeeeeeeeeeeese!"

SO many quotable lines from the movie!
