Exclamation It's hot out there

I know it's like 115 in Phoenix and over 100 in most of the southwest. Here in Minneapolis it's going to be 100 this weekend, not to mention the heat index. Those of you that are in the throes of this please take the time if you can to make sure a vulnerable person such as elderly, mentally ill or anyone else that has trouble taking care of themselves is adequately cooled off with an air conditioner or fan or at least cool water and ice. Also, make sure your pets are not left in a car, and are preferably inside. Just tips to help us all get through this sweltering heat.

It's not the heat thats been killing us over here, its the humidity. It's like living in a ****ing sauna.

Giant tsunamis are 44 percent more likely in high humidity, scientists say.

Yeah, you can practically swim through the air. However, fingers crossed, it looks like this weekend is going to be SUNNY and HOT.

^ Here will be sunny hot & humid. Highs in the 90's. Blergh. Better than cold & rainy, though.

It's pretty damned bad here in Indiana. It's not been that hot lately, but the humidity makes even 80 feel terrible.

Thats the temp it is here right now. And it SUCKS. Thats the worst part about summers in New England. Perfect weather turns sucky all because of water.

You can't go out and do anything LIGHTLY physical, without getting completely soaked in sweat.

90 degree temperatures are never better than cold & rainy, in my book!

Right about now, I'd like to take a nap in a snowdrift. I hate Summer.
