Default MP3 Requests

Does anyone have high-quality MP3s of:

1. Stand Back - Oakland '83
2. Edge of Seventeen - Fox Wilshire 1981 (full ending, not cut)

either from "Dreamer" or from radio b'cast via Source/Westwood One?

David, I believe the version of "Edge" that you're looking for is on Disc 2 of 'Enchanted.' Unless the ending is cut and I wasn't aware of it?

This is from a 3 disc set that I have called Enchanted Gypsy. I really should listen to some of these forgotten gems more. It's dated 12/12/81. The lyrics are a bit different. I don't know if this is what you're looking for or not but it's interesting just the same.

And since I'm having so much fun with this, here's Think About It from that same disc for the especially special Strandie:

thanks for posting stand back, chris. thanks, stew, that's the one I need (from enchanted). chris, I need to give these to other people so I'm looking for like 160+ bitrate. do you happen to have dreamer/stand back at that bitrate? Hate to be a pain but they have to be turned into audio cds for my purposes. I never bought "dreamer" because I had the source radio vinyl & then a cassette of it.

Let me break out my disc and see what the bitrate is on that. The one I posted is from my hard drive.

Enchanted? I had no idea that she did this live prior to the box set tour. Does anyone know when this is from?

Yeah, she did it a few times at the start of the Wild Heart tour--at places like the Meadowlands & Norfolk.

thanks chris! This sounds great!

What does everything think is the best sound quality "Has Anyone" of all (except for the Houston '89 show, which I can't use)? Is there a radio b'cast of it from the past ten or fifteen years or so? was it on a stevie nicks live album? I need REALLY GOOD sound quality for CD playback ref tool.

If I were you, I'd seek out the version from 'Storytellers.' Not only is it note-perfect, but the acoustics of the studio setting lend the proper aural intimacy the song requires.
