Default Warning: The Lord Says There's Big Storms Comin'

Pat Robertson Predictions
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., May 18, 2006(AP) In another in a series of notable pronouncements, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson says God told him storms and possibly a tsunami will hit America's coastline this year.

Robertson has made the predictions at least four times in the past two weeks on his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded.

Robertson said the revelations about this year's weather came to him during his annual personal prayer retreat in January.

"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. On Wednesday, he added, "There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest."

Robertson has come under intense criticism in recent months for suggesting that American agents should assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for Israel's pullout from the Gaza Strip.

You got nothing to worry about, it's just us blue state coastal areas that God is mad at.

This is so wild -- I recently predicted that Pat Robertson would be making another ridiculous prophecy of doom! I must have supernatural abilities to see that one coming.

Sylvia Browne better look out! Ol' Patsy & I are moving in on her territory.

See, that just makes me think he's in cahoots with George Bush, and they're going to use some super secret thing that was invented to cause Tsunamis, and aim it at the pacific coast, just to distract everyone....

What an imbecile. He seems unaware that U.S. coastlines have been hit by tsunami practically every year since 1990.

"Predictions"? that's rather a loose way of defining that word.

Either Robertson got his revelation wires crossed or God Himself botched the message, because a tsunami isn't a weather-related phenomenon.

What an imbecile. Storms to hit the coasts of America! Uhh ... yeah ... gee YA THINK?

What a turkey. And to think of . . . how many millions? voted for him to lead the nation as president. Gives me the cold shivers to ponder just how many of my fellow countrymen are morons.

Quite frankly, david, I have blessedly forgotten the year.

I think Mr. Imbecile has been running for president virtually every election since 1950.

Well, considering the bile that spews from that slit in his face we more commonly know as a "mouth", I'd say not only has he been embalmed, he's been lobotomized, as well.
