Well, okay, not really. I totally asked her out, though. She politely declined.

Anyway. The point is: Not only did Ms. Case deliver an absolutely stunning concert in Berlin last night, she also happened ot be wearing a Fleetwood Mac t-shirt. White album font, with the cartoon penguin with top hat and crystal ball in front of a fan design. I spent much of the concert looking at her t-shirt...

(no offense, you carrot tops out there). She's a country singer, ala torch style singing. Very talented, and extremely nice. I've had the pleasure of working with her three times.

Plus, her voice is a gift from the heavens, and she knows exactly how to use it. It's been a while since I went to a concert where someone's voice so consistently floored me.

I bought Fox Confessor about three weeks ago, and I've listened to it over 20 times since then. I never listen to anything that much, especially not in that short a time.

Neko Case can bring me out of hiding. Neko Case is ****ing awesome. "Blacklisted" is one of the best albums I've bought in a long time. And that voice. Good God.
