My unrequited crush

Today I went into work and to my dismay, my loverboy was not on the schedule. He has not shown up for work the past few days, and now I am thinking it is permanent. It is so disappointing. Who cares that we could never be together? It was enough just spending time with him. Such a sweet unassuming demeanor. Brown eyes. Always pronounces my name in this unique way that is so cute to me. He was planning on going to an auto tech institute soon. Got his future planned unlike me. Le sigh.

Wah wah wah pitycakes, that's enough about me. Do you have a crush on someone you know? Is there the slightest possibility of something developing from it, or is it total fantasy like with me?

I have been in that place many times, and it has always been a fantasy.

This post has reminded me of how dismal my love life really is

Aw, sorry knid, that sucks. I totally know how you feel. Crushes can be so fun yet so agonizing even if you know it won't or can't go anywhere. Sigh.

I've had a slight thinger going on. Back and forth, but going nowhere. Equally frustrating to the point the fun has been sucked right out of it.

I've been single since Feb of 2002. I'm lame...easily disposible.....easily forgotten....a waste of time and space.

Yes, singledom is getting a little tiring to say the least. I've had a fine time being single, but I'd like to date again and it seems to get harder the closer I get to 30 to find someone I'd actually like to make room in my life for.

I have two big crushes at the moment. One of which, mentioned in the "Do You Have a Secret?" thread is a total impossibility. The other is technically possible but is about as likely to go anywhere as the first one.

oh, god, i am the queen of crushes.

i have a huge crush right now, which started in december. it's actually moved beyond crush. my initial intention was just to get the guy to notice me. well, he did, and we've become good friends. but it's hard for me - and he knows how i feel. but there are circumstances... starting with the fact that we live in different cities, and he is 15 years older than me. and there are others, too. sigh. but i have not given up hope. we have a real connection.

i also have a couple of smaller crushes on guys i work with. i am a shameless flirt!

but these are more for fun and diversion. the one i talked about first makes my heart ache. so i can really relate.

*Sigh* I miss having crushes. Since moving to Rochester not one person has really gotten me going or piqued my interest. It SUCKS!!!! I'm like dead inside lol - then the few people I have met and tried to date? FREAKS!! THere must be something in the water up here...I long to go back where the people are pretty.

My last big crush was while at NPR - on the arts editor - who I"m still not convinced is even straight. But oh man..he had me all aflutter...

I miss that feeling of anticipation...longing....sadness at the fact that it's unrequited lol...

Well, I cant complain because I've been with Derek for almost 2 years. SOme good, some bad times, but I feell grateful since I waited a LONG time for it.
