Obviously Stevie didn't think to use a medium to do it, not to create such an overwhelming emotion for you David, she cares for your health. I'd love her and understand her even more if she would record with Etta James... and it's even still possible.

Yes indeed! In fact I saw Etta perform in 1998 at the Long Beach Blues Festival (also on the bill was Peter Green's Splinter Cadre). They wheeled her out in a wheelchair but she sang like a dream & had plenty of oomph & magic. She & Stevie SHOULD do a recording together.
