Default Stevie's very best "Rhiannon" performance *EVER*

Okay, so I thought this might be a fun poll - I was just watching a couple of Stevie's concert performances of "Rhiannon" from "back in the day" and I got to wondering which of them people feel is the best. If I've left one out feel free to add it below, or add comments or whatever. Have fun!

ok, it's like a sin not to mention the Japan Young Festival performance!!!! But of the ones listed, I'm going for the Midnight Special.

Shel

Out of the choices given, I'd have to go with the Midnight Special performance. I liked how they tried to cover her eyes with that pouffy hair... Those closeup shots kill me; she's so clearly ripped. The Dance version just puts me to sleep. I like the way she did it during Mirage. I don't change, and you don't change, Rhiaaaaannon!

Love Live in Boston! The "Well, I don't think you do!" part is my favorite! And I love the ending when she stomps her feet and whips her hair into her face.... My favorite!

I can't really decide ... the Midnight Special one is of course legendary, but it doesn't float my boat as much as I think it should...

Mirage was great too, but I don't think I've seen it often enough.

The Dance ... um, yeah, I like it! It's the first version of Rhiannon I ever heard so obviously it holds a special place for me. But at the same time it's missing that ferociousness [sp?!] that epitimises [sp?! I'm on a roll today] the song so much.

Live in Boston I love. Don't we all love the "Weeelll .... I Don't Think You Do!!"? Maybe I'm wrong, but I love it. I think it has the best of all those worlds. So yeah, I think that gets my vote.

Hahaha... I obviously don't change, being so predictable. The Mirage show is too hot. I must watch it... *drifts off to Stevieland*

Where's the Live album recording?

Actually, truth be told, I'd probably have trouble deciding between that and Midnight Special anyway. Still, it deserves mention.

Strangely enough, only about a year (or just a smidge over) separates those two performances!
