Default RIP Chris Penn

I just saw True Romance, and of course Chris was good in it. He will be missed. RIP.

(I also posted this on IMDB)

Unhappy

This is very sad, Chris was only 40. He was in a TV show that I liked that never got off the ground, I think last year. It was based in northern New England and centered around a family of small towners, firefighters, police officers, and politicians. It costarred Mare Winningham. The writing and acting were good and I really liked it. It just wasn't even given a chance and didn't have a good time slot either if I remember correctly. I feel bad for his family, bad timing for making fun of Sean (no offense meant to anyone).

LOS ANGELES -- Actor Chris Penn, brother of Sean Penn, was found dead Tuesday at his condominium near the beach in Santa Monica, police said.

Police said they discovered the 40-year-old actor's body around 4 p.m. Lt. Frank Fabrega said there were no obvious signs of foul play.

I saw on tee-vee this morning "Chris Penn 1962 - 2006" which would put him at 43.

That's so sad. There was a picture on CNN of Martin Sheen leaving his residence with Chris's mother. I really feel for her and the rest of his family.

I saw his birthdate as '65 in two places, including IMDB. Maybe reporters got it from IMDB and that is wrong. I saw both 43 and 40 reported as his age in different articles.

I've heard that the majority of men that suffer first Heart Attacks from 40-50 usually die. Is that right? I figured someone like you might know.

Well, since most happen in the home at night, I would say yes. There's no one around to start CPR....which decreases the possbility of living greatly.

my dad died of a heart attack at 37, he wasn't over-weight, didn't abuse drugs or alcohol, & didn't smoke, they still don't know why it happened, but i get check-ups regularly cuz it scares the hell outa me~

anyone remember chris in "the wild life" kinda a teen frat type movie in the 80's & his famous most said line in it was "it's casual"?~

love that movie~

I'm sorry to hear about this ,I enjoyed Chris in At Close Range and other films and Sean is my favorite male actor working in films along with Daniel Day Lewis who hardly ever works.
