Default Landslide on "Cold Case"

Does anyone watch this show? They played Landslide at the end of the episode with a guy singing it and I'm curious who the artist is...

That is one of my favorite shows and I watch it religously but this past Sunday the Kate Moss E! True Hollywood Story was on at the same time and I just couldn't pass it up. My luck I miss the one episode they play a Stevie song I'm sure there will be a re-run though.

It was Smashing Pumpkins. I actually like that re-make of Landslide.

The Smashing Pumkins version of Landslide is positively the best Stevie Nicks/FM cover ever. I absolutely love it (and am usually a harsh fan of SN covers). I just can never listen to it without thinking about my best friend in High School who thought it was their original song .

I agree... very good cover. I had a friend at uni who loved SPs and we used to argue over whether FM or SP version was the best.. poor deluded boy...

I really like that show too but was doing work and missed it. The way they end the show with the music is really compelling. They've used Stevie before. It may have been Leather and Lace but it was powerful.

Corgan got a lot of acclaim for that song, mostly for staying so true to it.

The Leather and Lace one was the first Cold Case episode I'd ever seen and it was SUCH a tearjerker. It's what got me into that show to begin with. I didn't see this past episode- I just happened to be walking by the bedroom when I heard the song. My husband said it was good, though.

I noticed it too and announced to everyone in the room what it was!

NERD!

Cold Case has pretty good music. I'd love to have that job (Music Supervisor?). On a side note, anyone have any I idea what kind of background you need?

It was, I was bawling. Hehe. I liked the show already but that hooked me.

Wasn't the Leather and Lace one about the 1986 high school couple? God, it was heartbreaking.

They definitely do a great job with music on Cold Case. I saw one recently where they weaved Bruce Springsteen songs throughout the show and each one matched the scene.
